Raising Gifted Children: Helping Bright Children Thrive at Every Stage
Parenting a gifted child is a joy — and a puzzle. The same intensity that fuels their curiosity can also fuel meltdowns. The same mind that races ahead in one subject can stall completely in another. And knowing when a struggle is “just parenting” versus something that needs real support isn’t always obvious.

The Sessions
This three-part online series brings together specialists in psychology, gifted education, and developmental pediatrics to walk parents through the emotional, academic, and developmental sides of raising a gifted child — with practical strategies you can use the same week you learn them.
October 10 | 1:00–3:00 PM
Gifted children often feel things more intensely than their peers. This session unpacks emotional intensity and perfectionism in gifted kids — and addresses a topic parents rarely get to talk about openly: caregiver burnout.
October 17 | 1:00–3:00 PM
Giftedness doesn't always show up as straight A's. Learn how to spot giftedness beyond grades, understand why bright kids underachieve, advocate effectively with your child's school, and build home learning strategies that actually fit how your child thinks.
October 24 | 1:00–3:00 PM
Gifted kids often develop unevenly — years ahead in one area, right on track (or behind) in another. This session helps parents understand uneven development, recognize twice- exceptionality, and know when it’s time to seek professional support.
