Every classroom has one. Most go unseen.

Gifted and twice-exceptional learners are in every Filipino classroom. Too often, they are mistaken for being lazy, difficult, or "just average." Some underachieve. Some withdraw. Twice-exceptional children, who are gifted and also live with a learning, developmental, or emotional difficulty, are at greatest risk, because their strengths and struggles can hide each other.

The adults around them are not short on care. What they need is shared knowledge and a common language. That is why we are bringing teachers, parents, psychologists, psychometricians, and physicians into one room for one day.

WHY ATTEND

Reasons to Participate in Our EventProgram

Understand what giftedness looks like in Filipino learners, and why a single test score is never the full story.

Learn how giftedness can mask ADHD, specific learning disorder, autism, or anxiety, and how those conditions can mask giftedness.

Strength-based approaches and accommodations for the classroom, the clinic, and the home.

What research says about talent development, asynchronous development, acceleration, and enrichment.

Meet the professionals and families building a more coordinated system of support for gifted Filipinos.

WHO IS THIS FOR

One room, three kinds of expertise

Teachers and school leaders

You are often the first to notice. Learn how to identify gifted and twice-exceptional students fairly, adjust instruction, and work with families and specialists.

Aligned with the Philippine Professional Standards for Teachers, including Domain 3 (Diversity of Learners) and Domain 5 (Assessment and Reporting).

Parents and caregivers

You know your child is different, but you may not have the words for it, or the right people to talk to. Hear directly from the specialists who assess and support gifted children, understand the process, and learn how to be your child's best advocate at school.

Psychologists, psychometricians, physicians, and allied specialists

Strengthen your approach to multiple-criteria identification, culturally fair assessment, differential diagnosis in twice-exceptional profiles, and referral pathways, alongside colleagues from education and medicine.
